Screen shots of the process to create a Web CT account. Do not use the college's website to access Web CT. Use www.mscopper.com. These screen shots are read only. You cannot create an account on this page. Just read the page. You get to the login page through the syllabus.
1.You can go to the bottom of the course syllabus and click on the above link.
2. The below screen will appear.
3. Click on create account. You only have to create an account one time.
1. Once you click on create account the below screen appears.
2. Fill in your personal information. I used the fictitious name "Tony Swift" as an example. Enter any email address you like. I do not use this email address so you can make one up.
3. Under login information make sure you use only small letters. Your WebCT ID will be you last name and initial of your first name. The WebCT ID for Tony Swift is swiftt. If your name is Sara Jones you would use joness.
4. Your password will be your student number, numbers only. Leave out the dashes if there are any. You must remember your password. I do not have your password. Again your password is your student number, not something you invent. Leave the login and correct answer boxes blank.
5. After you have correctly filled in the boxes correctly then click on continue.
You may find that someone with the same name as you is already in the system. In the example below the login ID swiftt is already in the system. Web CT tells me that if I like I can use the Login ID of swiftt7. I will accept this login ID. If you run into a similar situation then you accept the Web CT login ID . Click continue. Once you click continue you should be able to log into WebCT.
Click on Go to course:
The screen below is where you want to end up. Go to the bottom and click on your course number. Good Luck and welcome to Web CT and the course.
